Entry from future dictionary (~50 years)

Anti-vaxxer, noun: someone who thinks for himself/herself and comes to a conclusion that is inconsistent with, or in opposition to, mandated official narratives. Originated in the early twenty-first century in the United States during outbreaks of a globally orchestrated pandemic designed to subjugate the world population via both psychological and biological methods. Used derogatively, but later transitioned to have associations of courage, morality, truthfulness, and protecting the rights of the oppressed.

Eg: Like the early forefathers of the twenty-first century, John fancied himself an anti-vaxxer as he protested the unfair executive order.

Vaccines never worked. You should thank plumbers for saving humanity, instead. They got rid of outhouses, piped poop miles away, and made you wash your crappy hands before flipping our burgers. Plumbers are the heroes, not pharma or doctors.

Dont take RNA shot. There is no pandemic. 600,000 die each year from cancer, but government doesn't force chemo and radiation on us. 660,000 die each year from heart disease, but we aren't force fed anti-cholesterol drugs. Smoking kills 480,000 yearly but government doesn't destroy economy with shutdowns. Only 400,000 die each year WITH covid, not from it. There is no pandemic. Tell your friends, family, and employers to calm down. Its time to arrest government servants for mass murder using genetic experiments.

People need to wake up to the fact that the pharmaceutical industry is not there to cure diseases. They are there to make money. We have more vaccines and medicines today than ever in human history, and consequently we have more diseases than ever.... so, the industry is not there to cure anyone but to make us sick and profit from our sickness. And that alone is a major human rights violation.

According to some sources not connected to the pharmaceutical industry, statins lower cholesterol but do not decrease probability of heart disease. The only benefit is prettier numbers on a piece of paper. High cholesterol is a side effect of bad diet and lack of exercise, which frequently lead to heart disease. Lowering cholesterol by artificial means does nothing to address the actual cause of the heart disease, which is bad lifestyle choices, not cholesterol levels. There is a genetic component, but What we can actually control is more relevant.

Admin was aghast, but could do nothing, because they still upheld the motto. Formaldehyde, aluminum hydroxide, sometimes thimerosal and sometimes active pathogens were in the old, less scary vaccines.

My definition of vaccination: A superstitious ritual involving a mildly poisonous stew that only serves to disrupt optimal immune function.

Regarding the Use of the Term "Anti-Vaxxer"

Dear Editor

Thank you Karyse Day [1] for drawing attention to the problem of the bias and intimidation inherent in the term "anti-vaxxer". The term has been around perhaps since the 19th century but has evolved a new context. Three years ago I drew attention to the remarks of Seth Berkley, director of the vaccine lobby organisation GAVI, in the Spectator proposing that "anti-vaxxers" be excluded from social media, which meant in effect not only that certain people should not be allowed on social media but that criticism of vaccines should not be allowed on a generic basis - an extremely serious matter[2].

Unfortunately, this has also been a hobby-horse of the present Prime Minister. In August last year Reuter's recorded Boris Johnson as saying [3]:

“I’m afraid people have just been listening to that superstitious mumbo-jumbo on the internet, all that anti-vax stuff..."

On 24 September 2020 he told the UN [4]:

“There are today people who are still actually anti-science, a whole movement called ‘the anti-vaxxers’ who refuse to acknowledge the evidence that vaccinations have eradicated smallpox and who by their prejudices are actually endangering the very children they want to protect."

By February this year the Sunday Telegraph was reporting [5]:

"Posting anti-vaccine propaganda on social media could become criminal offence, Law Commissioner says

New Law Commissioner Penney Lewis is leading wide-ranging review into whether UK's offence and abuse laws are fit for the Social Media age..."

And once again the Prime Minister was quoted last month [6]:

“There’s all these anti-vaxxers now,” Johnson told medical workers at a doctor’s surgery in London. “They are nuts, they are nuts.”

While there are a lot of very fed up people I am extremely dubious there is a movement called "the anti-vaxxers" or that they are posting propaganda: at the very best this is a simplistic claim [7,8]. At a time when the government is supposedly trying to earn trust for a range of potential SAR-CoV-2 vaccines the continued disparagement and repression of people who raise questions about a class of products - which after all cannot be inherently safe - speaks for itself. It creates an atmosphere of prejudice and intimidation - such as described in the Cumberlege review [9] and should be seen and understood for what it is.

I find it astonishing that the side that promotes independence and personal autonomy (the “anti-vaxers”) is accused of pushing “propaganda”. I thought propaganda could only be pushed by those with power?

The “anti-vax” side doesn’t seek to coerce or condemn. Instead, we seek to inform/provide an alternative explanation and to WARN. Since when has warning people (without force, mind you) become a crime?

The government’s actions don’t surprise me; how many are falling for it does.

Expand full comment

I'm for vaccines that are based on long-term studies and provide immunity from disease, not fake ones like the Covid one that is so ineffective that the very definition of "vaccine" had to be changed to accommodate it.

Expand full comment

Every vaccine is a Russian roulette bullet waiting to happen. The only difference between the standard vaccines and COVID-19 ones however is that they have the whole barrel loaded.

Expand full comment

cylinder is more apt

Expand full comment

Please name one vaccine that has provided immunity from disease that is superior to naturally acquired immunity. Vaccines compromise natural immunity by artificial means. The only benefits from vaccines are received by the manufacturers, who are exempt from the trail of death and destruction they leave behind. Congress has taken away their incentive to make them safe by protecting the manufacturers from liability no matter how much damage they cause. Why should they waste their money on safety studies? If you read the package inserts you will not find a single vaccine that does not come with the risk of serious side effects.

Expand full comment

A vaccine is inherently untrustworthy because it is purportedly “preventative” — in comparison to medications which you can see first hand work because your disease went away. You can’t see if the vaccine worked, firsthand, in yourself, because the default protocol is to expect adverse side-effects, even in a real vaccine. And you never had the disease in the first place, as the vaccine is preventative; so you can’t see the disease heal in yourself firsthand. Some vaccines work. However, many more are shots that abuse this loophole — because in essence Big Pharma can put anything they want in it, and chalk it up to “normal adverse side-effects,” and “not being full-proof preventative.” Vaccines are real, abuse of pseudo-vaccines is much more real.

I couldn’t find your other comment, but I call myself the “world’s worst LDS” because it’s true.

I converted 24 years ago, and I’ve been active on and off. I like the doctrine fine, but I lack the “dogmatic” gene, and the church culture is pretty damned dogmatic (and, frankly, kind of weird).

I am also incredibly disappointed in the leadership, who instructed all members to get the vax. I’m not okay with that—members should have been counseled to educate themselves and to speak to a trusted medical provider, not blindly accept brand new technology.

Love your comments!

Expand full comment

Thank you. I thought it was funny because I had some childhood experience with the church. Somewhat traumatizing, but I recovered lol. Like you said, "kind of weird". Refreshing to hear a mormon swear though! You earned the title!

Expand full comment

Omg, I’m worse than just swearing Mormon. Much, much worse. (A “normal” person would think I’m fine, if a little “edgy”, but I don’t fit in with the vast majority of the other ward ladies who are my age or younger. 🤷🏼‍♀️😏)

I got my Endowments and was sealed to my husband a year after I joined the church, in 1998. Our son was 13 mos old when he was sealed to us (same day I was Endowed and we were sealed). We raised our son in the church when he was little. He liked Primary and the camp outs.

When our son was about 10, my husband (the reason I converted) got a rare form of viral encephalitis that injured him permanently. He’s been housebound at best, and bed-bound at worst with post-viral chronic fatigue syndrome (and some other chronic issues that are permanent) for well over a decade. I’ll spare you the details.

It wasn’t long before I had to drag our son to church: all of his church friends moved (we’re in So Cal and everyone went to Utah, natch.) and he was stuck with the Young Men’s class below his, since no one was his age. My son wasn’t into sports, eating, being in a band; instead, he played video games and wrote satire. He refused Scouting, the Trek, a mission (😄), Seminary, and any Sunday meeting where Scouts or missions were discussed (he’d go read scripture in the hall). They ALL thought he was weird. (Like, THIS weird: https://youtu.be/7WABqc2cOII) 🤣

I stopped making him go pretty quickly. But I kept going another seven years or so, and liked the old ladies from Relief Society. When our ward merged with another, I said adiós. I stayed in touch with a very few, and all old.

Interestingly, we all still tithe—even our son, who turned out to be gay (shocker)—(I would give away 10+% of my gross income, regardless), but we’re so bad that we refuse to answer the door or the phone for the missionaries.

Oh, and since my husband uses THC to treat his dystonia (he has that, too), well, so do I. That’s not very Mormonly of me.

See, I AM the WORST LDS…ever. Anyone would agree. 👍🏼😉

We should meet every use of the term 'anti-vaxxer' with "pure blood" and these facts. It will collapse the 'anti-vaxxer' narrative overnight. People want to be on the side that's winning, but people suffer from FOMO too. Who would want to be 'vaccinated' when they coul be 'pure blood', eternal source of healthy blood, capable of curing the sick!!! Its a better virtue signal, and if progressives love anything it's proclaiming themselves the most virtuous. They won't be able to resist the allure of being pure of blood, source of health. Even they know deep down the vaccine story is flimsy. Let's take back the narrative. Make it your mission to declare yourself proudly as the virtuous pureblood you are to everyone who will listen. Own it! Make them tremble in shame in the face of your purity. Your posturing will defeat theirs easily. Reclaim your destiny Purebloods!

It took the lockdowns, the mask mandates, the suppression of early treatments and even the mention of them, public officials admittedly withholding and changing information, and the absolute fear everyone (including me) constantly felt. The censorship and the total denial of the vaccine injured was it. It took a long time, plus I wasn’t willing to think people could really put money/power/whatever over someone else’s life. Ignorance, I thought, was bliss. But now I know. And honestly, not being ignorant is very blissful. It’s truth. It gives me strength and more courage than I knew I had.
